MY PINK GIN
Thank you for purchasing a bottle! I really do hope you enjoy it. It is a gin that is quite close to my heart. Let me tell you how its made.
Firstly, the style of the bottle and label is deliberately low key. I wanted to make sure nothing got in the way of displaying the colour of this gin.
But please note - The colour will naturally fade over time. The flavour and aroma of the strawberries will stay very much alive, but like a wine, the colour will evolve from a bright pink to a light apricot. (if you keep it that long! :)
“Ive always been fascinated by natural wines and working with completely fresh ingredients that their peak!”
Working in the style of a Sloe Gin. The freshest strawberries are chosen, sliced up, and allowed to macerate in the spirit of our Black Label Gin. The flavour profile of Lemon/Citrus and Strawberries works together very well.
The first year I made this, it was an exploration into the unknown. I had no idea how it would turn out.
When the strawberries are clear and almost like glass, they are removed and leave behind the most amazing pink colour.
This is then proofed down with spring water and bottled. No filtering (you may find some seeds or bit of strawberry in your bottle).
There are many ways to enjoy this - Neat, with Soda, with Tonic, even a Martini. I won’t try and tell you how “best” to enjoy it - It is to be explored.

Note - We add more than this!
